I am a graduate of Davidson College and holds a Master’s Degree from the Department of Nutrition in the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have worked in a variety of settings, including obesity treatment, skilled nursing care, student health and wellness, pediatrics, diabetes clinics, telephonic chronic disease management and education programs.

I am an active member of the American Dietetic Association as well as a Certified Diabetes Educator and member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
